Cedar County Released Inmates is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody or release, post bond, release anyone, or retrieve an official record.
Official Offices and Record Routes
Send each question to the office that owns the record. The Cedar County Sheriff’s Office and Detention Center are at 202 South High Street, Stockton, MO 65785. The main non-emergency telephone is 417-276-5133, and detention calls use extension 251. The fax number is 417-276-5135. No separate records-counter hours were verified on the official Sheriff page, so call before visiting.
The Cedar County Circuit Clerk, Sarah Turner as listed when researched, keeps local circuit, associate, and probate court records. The office is at 113 South Street, with mail sent to P.O. Box 665, Stockton, MO 65785. Call 417-276-6700 at extension 230 or 234, or fax 417-276-5001. The Circuit Clerk’s published hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with closure on most state and federal holidays.
For state custody, use the Missouri Department of Corrections and its active-offender search. That public search excludes discharged offenders. Specific active status questions belong with the institutional caseworker or probation and parole field officer. The Missouri Parole Board publishes 573-751-8488 and DOC.MissouriParoleBoard@doc.mo.gov; Board Operations correspondence is listed as DOC.COBoardOperations@doc.mo.gov. No MODOC street address or public counter hours are added here because the Cedar research did not verify them.
Choose the route that matches the need:
- For a Cedar County jail release, booking record, or facility detail, start with the home search and records path and the Detention Center page listed below, then request the record from the Sheriff.
- For active community supervision, use the Parole / Probation page and the official MODOC office route.
- For recent local releases, use Released Last 24 Hours, which explains how to narrow Cedar County’s broader Released view.
- For timing or an event alert, compare the Inmate Release Date and VINELink Release Check resources.
- For court disposition or a copy outside the public portal, contact the Circuit Clerk and use Missouri Case.net.
- For a sentenced Missouri prisoner or active parolee, use MODOC rather than the Cedar County roster.
- For federal or immigration custody, use the BOP or ICE locator only when the known case or transfer points to that system.
